What's your purpose? 

Many of us spend years trying to answer this question. But what if it's not really the question. What if the feeling of needing to find your purpose is actually a call to connect to yourself? 

My experience of the search for purpose left me feeling itchy in my soul. I call this feeling the "ontological itch". Ontology is the study of being (literally what/how we are in relationship to self and others). I found that the soothing balm is deep personal work, an inward journey that helps you to unearth your own truths and bring them up into the light so that you can own your story and learn to trust yourself. 

 
It's a lifelong journey, one that you'll repeat over and over in different ways and for different reasons, and each time you'll likely go deeper. But the first step is to start, and the peace that comes with the process, once you actually begin to trust yourself and your own inner knowing, is priceless and full of possibility.
